What’s Next: Your Roadmap to Enrollment
Ready to explore The Rise Project for your student? Our enrollment process is straightforward and collaborative. On this page you’ll find a clear overview of each step—from scheduling your first conversation with our Executive Director to completing intake paperwork and arranging funding. We’ve outlined everything in the order it happens so you can see the road ahead, gather any needed documents, and track your progress with confidence. Take a moment to read through the steps, then follow the prompts when you’re ready. Our team is here to guide you at every point and answer any questions along the way.
Step 1 – Schedule an Intake Meeting
Use our online calendar to reserve a convenient time. If you prefer, you may first meet without your student to ask questions and explore fit.

Step 2 – Conversation with Our Executive Director
In this personal appointment we discuss your goals, review your student’s needs, and determine together whether The Rise Project is the right match. Be prepared to discuss IEPs, 504 Plans, Extenuating Circumstances, or any other information pertinent to your child's enrollment.

Step 3 – Invitation to Enroll
When both family and Executive Director agree to move forward, you will receive a formal invitation that outlines the next steps.

Step 4 – Formal Intake and Initial Assessments
Our staff gathers essential background information, completes proprietary Developmental Asset assessments, and clarifies any academic records we may need. This ensures we create the best possible learning and support plan from day one.
Step 5 – Funding or Payment Coordination
We work alongside you to apply charter enrichment funds or arrange direct payment. Our goal is a seamless process that never delays a student’s start date.

Step 6 – Student and Parent Welcome Meeting
Before a student joins class, we require a brief joint meeting with both the student and at least one parent or guardian. This sets shared expectations and allows your student to meet key mentors face‑to‑face.

Step 7 – Onboarding and First Day
With paperwork completed and funding secured, your student receives schedule details, log‑ins, and a warm introduction to instructors, Life Coaches, and peers.
